Purpose
The Standard and Expectation Policy establishes clear guidelines and quality standards for maintenance work, particularly on electrical and plumbing tasks. This policy is designed to ensure that all work is performed efficiently, safely, and following the values of Ignition633 Ministries, prioritizing professionalism, safety, and the use of industry-standard materials and practices. Your safety is our top priority.

Scope
This policy applies to all maintenance personnel and contractors performing electrical and plumbing work for Ignition633 Ministries. It includes specific requirements for electrical outlets, load calculations, USB ports, light bulbs, switches, the selection of materials, and adherence to safety protocols. The policy ensures that all work is completed on time, to the highest standards, and in compliance with safety regulations while fostering a commitment to quality and attention to detail.

Policy Statement
Electrical Outlets
Use electrical outlets compatible with US plugs and provide sufficient power capacity for the intended devices.

Electrical Load Calculation
Ensure that electrical circuits are appropriately sized and not overloaded to prevent overheating and potential fire hazards.

USB Ports
Install electrical outlets with built-in USB ports to offer convenient charging options for mobile devices.

Light Bulbs
Use white light bulbs for general illumination, as they provide better visibility and color accuracy in most settings.

Light Switches
Install standard light switches that are easily operated and clearly labeled for proper identification.

Material Selection
Use approved and industry-standard materials for electrical and plumbing work to ensure quality and safety.

Maintenance Personnel
- Maintenance staff should perform their duties with professionalism, skill, and attention to detail.
- Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines and using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing maintenance tasks.
- Reporting any observed safety hazards or potential equipment failures to their supervisor immediately.
