Purpose
The purpose of the Maintenance Staff Dress Code is to establish clear guidelines that ensure all maintenance personnel maintain a professional appearance while adhering to safety regulations. This dress code fosters a work environment that prioritizes safety, efficiency, and a positive representation of the organization.
Scope
This dress code applies to all maintenance staff employed by the organization, including full-time, part-time, and temporary workers. It covers the required attire, personal protective equipment (PPE), and personal grooming standards for safe and effective job performance.
Uniform
- Provided uniform top
- Pants (black): Pants must be clean, pressed, and secured at the waist. Boxers must not be exposed.
- ID badge
- Close-toed shoes (black): Shoes must cover the entire foot, including the toes. Work boots are encouraged but not required.
- Safety Gear
- Mask, gloves, eye protection, ear protection, and other safety materials are required when necessary.
Upkeep
- If you need additional uniforms or yours spoil, please speak with your supervisor about purchasing additional uniforms.
- Talk to your supervisor if you need cleaning services for your uniform.
- Please ensure your fingernails are clean and trim.
- Reduce body odor by wearing deodorant, showering daily, and wearing fresh/clean clothes.
- Refrain from wearing strong perfumes/colognes while working in private homes.
