Purpose
This procedure establishes clear guidelines for maintaining church/outreach equipment at Ignition633 Ministries. It ensures that all equipment remains functional, reliable, and safe for use during ministry activities.

Scope
This procedure applies to staff and volunteers responsible for handling equipment, including musical instruments, electronics, and accessories. Proper maintenance promotes optimal performance and extends the equipment's lifespan.

How To Maintain Equipment Procedure
Drums
- Clean the drums using a soft cloth and mild soap to wipe down the drums and pedals.
- Inspect the drumheads by checking for any signs of wear, tear, or damage. Replace the drumheads if necessary.
- Tune the drums to ensure they sound their best to avoid slacking
- Store the drums properly in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight.

Keyboard
- Dust the keyboard using clothes or air to remove dust and debris from the keys and crevices.
- Clean the keys using a soft cloth and wipe down the keys.
- Inspect the keys, checking for any stuck or damaged keys. Replace the keys if necessary.
- Regularly update the keyboard's software to ensure it's running smoothly.

Guitars (Base and Acoustic)
- Use a soft cloth and mild soap to wipe down the guitars.
- Regularly inspect the guitars for any signs of wear, tear, or damage.
- Regularly tune the guitars to ensure they sound their best.
- Keep the guitars in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight.

Laptops

- Run disk cleanup to remove unnecessary files and free up space.
- Regularly scan the laptop for malware and viruses.
- Use air to remove dust and debris from the laptop's vents and crevices.

Smart TV
- Use a soft cloth to wipe down the screen.
- Regularly check the TV's connections to ensure they're secure.
- Regularly run a channel scan to ensure the TV is receiving all available channels.

Sound Card
- Update the sound card's drivers to ensure it's running smoothly.
