Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to establish structured and clear criteria and guidelines for selecting members of the Firebrand Football Academy team within Ignition633 Ministries Nigeria. It aims to promote ethical conduct, skill development, and spiritual growth, fostering a positive environment that aligns with the ministry’s mission

Scope
This policy applies to all prospective and current football team members, covering expectations for social conduct, skill evaluation, attitude, and spiritual alignment. It also establishes procedures for trial periods and the assessment of players’ overall suitability for the team. By adhering to these guidelines, the team serves as a platform for personal development, community impact, and the promotion of Christian values through sports.

Policy Statement
Social Vices

Team selection will consider the absence of social vices such as cultism, gambling, violence, dishonesty, drug abuse, disrespectful behavior, and many more. Players are expected to demonstrate high ethical standards. 

Skill Level
While the team encourages participation from players of various skill levels, new players may be evaluated based on their ability to learn, apply skills, and contribute to team objectives. 

Attitude and Conduct
Players must have a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, commitment, and the ability to work well with others. Negative attitudes or disruptive behavior may result in exclusion from the team. 

Spiritual Alignment
Players must show a willingness to embrace the values of Ignition633 Ministry, including regular participation in spiritual activities and showing respect for the Christian ethos. 

Trial Period
A trial period may be used to assess a player's skills, attitude, and integration with the team. During this time, the coach will provide feedback and determine whether the player will be offered a permanent spot on the team.
