Procedure - Vehicle Stocking

Purpose
To ensure that all vehicles are adequately stocked with essential supplies to provide comfort and safety for drivers and passengers during all short or long trips.

Scope
This procedure applies to all drivers operating company vehicles. It outlines the essential supplies that must be available in the vehicle at all times and additional items required for long journeys.

Basic Vehicle Needs
All vehicles must be equipped with the following items to cater to the basic needs of passengers:
- iPhone Car Charger: Ensure compatibility with passengers' devices to allow for charging during the trip.
- Adapter: Provide an adapter that accommodates different types of devices and charging needs.
- Tissue Box: A whole tissue box must be available for passenger use.
- Hand Sanitizer: Maintain a bottle of hand sanitizer in a visible and accessible location.
- Sick Bags: At least two sick bags should be available to manage passenger motion sickness.

Long Journey Needs
For journeys expected to last several hours or more, the following additional items must be stocked:
- Sheet: A clean sheet for comfort or use in unforeseen circumstances.
- 5-Gallon Bucket: A large bucket that is clean and ready for emergency use.
- Toilet Seat: A portable toilet seat that can be used with the bucket for emergencies.
- Toilet Paper: Keep an adequate supply of toilet paper stored in a waterproof container.
- Frozen Water Bottle: One frozen water bottle per passenger to keep beverages cool and for hydration.
- Cold Water Bottles: At least two bottles per passenger should be available for hydration during the journey.

Responsibilities
- Drivers: Ensure all listed items are stocked in the vehicle before departure. Perform a quick check of supplies before starting each trip, particularly on long journeys.
- Fleet Management: Conduct regular inspections to confirm that all vehicles meet the stocking requirements and restock supplies as needed.
