Purpose
To establish clear guidelines for appropriately categorizing, assigning, and utilizing vehicles within the ministry. This ensures that vehicles are used efficiently, safely, and aligned with the ministry's operational needs and standards.

Scope
This procedure applies to all employees, drivers, and any authorized personnel responsible for using, managing, or assigning vehicles owned or operated by the ministry. It covers the classification of vehicles based on their intended use, the assignment process, conditions for use, and the responsibilities of all parties involved in the operation of these vehicles.

Each vehicle has specific uses assigned to each of them. They are as follows:

Vehicle Categories and Uses

  1. Tacoma
    Primary Use:
    General work-related tasks and transportation.
    Allowable Users: All staff as per work needs.
    Note: Ensure the vehicle is in good working condition and follows standard pre-drive and post-drive procedures.

  2. Tundra
    Primary Use:
    Official transportation for Executives and special visitors.
    Access: This vehicle can only be used with permission from Ignition633 Nigeria Leadership (International Directors, Vice President, and Chief of Staff).
    Note: Use for official purposes only. Ensure the vehicle is clean, presentable, and in top condition.

  3. Hummer 3 Bus
    Primary Use:
    General transportation, especially for larger groups.
    Allowable Users: Staff responsible for group transport.
    Note: Confirm seating and space arrangements before departure. Check vehicle capacity and safety features.

  4. Tipper Truck
    Primary Use: Hauling materials.
    Allowable Users: Staff involved in material transport and logistics.
    Note: Verify load capacity and secure materials properly. Perform checks to ensure the truck is in operational condition.

  5. Keke Truck
    Primary Use: Hauling small materials for 633 Farms, the Maintenance Department, and Workshop transportation.
    Allowable Users: Staff involved with 633 Farms, Maintenance, and Workshop activities.
    Note: Ensure proper loading and unloading procedures are followed. Maintain the truck in good working order.

  6. Sequoia
    Primary Use:
    Similar function to the Tacoma, used for general work-related tasks and transportation.
    Allowable Users: All staff as per work needs.
    Note: Follow standard pre-drive and post-drive procedures similar to those for the Tacoma.
