Purpose 
This policy provides guidance for employees of Ignition633 Nigeria on the appropriate use of personal social media accounts. The goal is to maintain a professional image and encourage responsible behavior in alignment with the Ministry's values. 

Scope 
This policy applies to all employees, contractors, and volunteers associated with Ignition633 Ministries when using personal social media accounts. 

Policy Statement 
Professionalism and Conduct
Avoid sharing content that could be considered inappropriate, offensive, or unprofessional. This includes content that is sexually suggestive, violent, aggressive language, or otherwise damaging to the Ministry’s image. 

Monitoring and Review
- While Ignition633 Nigeria does not routinely monitor personal social media accounts, the Ministry reserves the right to review publicly available content if it is reported or brought to leadership’s attention (supervisors/directors).
- If the Ministry deems content on a personal account inappropriate or contrary to its values, HR will be involved to address the issue. 

HR Involvement
- HR will review any concerns regarding inappropriate content on personal social media accounts and will conduct a fair and thorough investigation.
- Employees may be required to remove or modify the content in question. Depending on the nature of the content and its impact, corrective actions may be taken, including verbal warnings, written warnings, or other actions deemed appropriate. 

Respect for Privacy
- Respect co-worker's privacy by not sharing or posting content that includes their personal information without their approval. - -- Employees are prohibited from posting images or content on social media that contain sensitive work information. This includes screenshots or photographs of laptop screens, documents, or any other material that could compromise confidentiality or security. 

Reporting Concerns
- Employees who become aware of inappropriate content related to Ignition633 Nigeria on personal social media accounts should report their concerns to the Staff’s supervisor or HR.

This policy will be reviewed annually and is subject to change. Any changes will be communicated to all employees promptly.
