Policy Name: Ministry Phone Policy
Origination Date: August 2024

Purpose
This policy outlines the responsibilities and guidelines for employees who are provided with a ministry-owned phone. The purpose of this policy is to ensure that the phone is used responsibly and in a manner that aligns with the values and mission of the Ministry.

Scope
This policy applies to all employees issued a phone by the Ministry.

Policy Statement
Eligibility for Ministry-Issued Phones
Ministry-issued phones will be provided to employees who require constant communication and access to ministry-related resources. Phones are issued at the ministry's discretion based on job function and necessity.

Ownership and Return of Phone
The phone issued to you is the property of Ignition633 Ministries Nigeria and is provided to assist in fulfilling your duties. It must be returned immediately after employment termination, whether due to resignation, dismissal, or the completion of any contract or project. All accessories provided with the phone, such as chargers and cases, must also be returned in good condition.

Responsible Use
The phone must be used for Godly purposes only. This includes refraining from inappropriate business activities or viewing inappropriate content.
The following uses are strictly prohibited:
- Viewing or sharing inappropriate, immoral, or offensive content.
- Engaging in personal business or side ventures.
- Excessive personal use that interferes with ministry tasks.

Limited personal use may be permitted if it does not interfere with your duties, incur additional costs, or violate ministry values.

Monitoring and Privacy
The Ministry reserves the right to monitor the usage of all ministry-issued phones. This includes tracking call logs, text messages, internet data usage, and app activity to ensure compliance with this policy. Employees should have no expectation of privacy regarding their use of the phone for work purposes.

Damage and Reimbursement
If the phone is damaged, lost, stolen, misplaced, contact HR immediately. You will be responsible for reimbursing the Ministry 100% of the cost of the phone. The exact price will be attached to this policy.

Return and Replacement of Phones
Phones will be replaced due to normal wear and tear or technical malfunctions as determined by the Ministry. Any intentional misuse or neglect that leads to damage will result in the user bearing the cost of replacement.

When returning the phone, ensure all ministry-related data is retained according to HR guidelines, and all personal data is deleted. Failure to return the phone or accessories in good condition will result in a fee deduction from your final paycheck or a reimbursement charge.

Termination of Access
Upon termination, all access to ministry-related accounts (e.g., emails, cloud storage, ministry apps) through the phone will be deactivated immediately. The IT department will remotely wipe ministry data from the phone if necessary.

Consequences for Policy Violations
Violations of this policy, including misuse of the phone, unauthorized personal use, or failure to return the phone, may result in:
- Revocation of phone privileges.
- Reimbursement of repair or replacement costs.
- Corrective action, up to and including termination of employment.
