Purpose
At Ignition633 Ministry Nigeria, our code of conduct is designed to guide all employees in maintaining a professional, respectful, and inclusive work environment. 

Scope
This General Code of Conduct applies to all employees, volunteers, contractors, and representatives of Ignition633 Ministries Nigeria, regardless of role. It covers behavior both within the workplace and during ministry-related activities and events. 

1. Employees must be at their duty posts by 8:00 a.m.
2. Do not be late. Arriving 10 minutes after their resumption time is considered late. After 15 minutes, employees must inform their supervisor.
3. Dress decently and according to their department-approved dress code.
4. Do not engage in indecent conduct: Behaviors that do not exemplify the nature of Christ's righteousness, such as unnecessarily prolonged hugging with the opposite sex or any other form of physical contact that may be considered indecent, are prohibited.
5. No leggings with short tops, ripped jeans, and slippers.
6. Inform your supervisor immediately if the dress code cannot be adhered to.
7. Do not send staff on personal, non-official assignments such as picking up children from school or going to the market.
8. Do not conduct personal business on campus during work hours.
9. Do not spread false rumors or gossip about colleagues.
10. No smoking or alcohol on Campus property.
11. Report any concerns about an employee to a supervisor or director.
12. Do not discuss departmental matters with individuals not directly involved. Relevant parties include affected colleagues, supervisors, directors, or the HR Team.
13. Do not form cliques or discriminate against any employee of Ignition633 Ministries Nigeria.
14. Insubordination, including disobedience or refusal to follow orders from superiors, is not tolerated.
15. Never disrespect or disregard superiors or leaders in any department.
16. Do not disrespect or disregard coworkers. Matthew 7:12 - “Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets.” (NLT)
17. Adhere to all safety protocols and report unsafe conditions or practices to their supervisor.
18. Do not use the Ministry’s resources for unofficial and personal purposes.
19. Personal grievances against coworkers must be addressed through official grievance procedures and cannot be expressed directly in the workplace.

This policy will be reviewed annually and is subject to change. Any changes will be communicated to all employees promptly.
