Purpose
This procedure outlines the guidelines for creating and posting social media content for Ignition633 Nigeria. It ensures that posts are engaging, aligned with the ministry's mission, and convey important messages in a Christ-centered manner.

Scope
This procedure applies to all team members responsible for creating, approving, and posting content on Ignition633 Nigeria's social media platforms. It includes all forms of social media content, such as posts, captions, images, and videos.

How to Make Social Media Posts
Social Media Content
When posting Ignition633 Nigeria Content for social media, each caption should answer these questions and contain the following:
- What is happening in this post?
- Why is this important?
- What is the bigger picture? (How does it relate to the ministry, Nigerian work, etc.)
- Add an element of Christ in every post. - For articles, the Christ element can be a call to action or prayer.
PRO-TIP: Adding relative emojis, exclamations, and separating paragraphs makes the post more visually appealing!

When Creating Content For Social Media
- ALL videos taken should be formatted onto an official Ignition633 social media template provided unless otherwise instructed by your supervisor and leadership

EVERY POST must have proper hashtags (formulated for Ignition633 specifically) attached to either the caption or posted in the comments once the post is published

All content for social media that is approved by leadership must be uploaded/scheduled to each of our platforms: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Rumble (videos only), X (formally known as Twitter) *Coming Soon*, Truth Social — *Coming Soon*

Informative Media Content
When posting news articles and educational information content on social media, each caption should contain the following and answer these questions:
- Post the title of the article in bold
- Give two to three sentences explaining/highlighting the content of the article
- Site the source of the article and any other information given from outside sources (VERY IMPORTANT)

Socials Draft
For Each social draft completed by the Content creator,

A template draft will be provided for you. Please copy the original document and work off this template. Please put it in a proper folder labeled correctly within SOCIALS

Please label the social draft accordingly, “N&S for publish Date [INSERT PUBLISH DATE HERE].”

Example: “N&S for Publish Date November 15th”
Please note that the draft file's name must match the name of the folder in which it is located.

The content creator will work with the supervisor and photo-videographer to upload proper pictures and video links within the draft.

 Uploading Draft onto Teams Dashboard
You will create a new post and label accordingly:
- Title of draft
- Link to draft file (Microsoft Word)
- Link to proper media folder (within SOCIALS)

Each draft is due on the 1st and 15th of every month.

This procedure will be reviewed annually and is subject to change. Any changes will be communicated to all employees promptly.
