Purpose
This procedure establishes clear guidelines on how the media Coordinator and team members communicate with each other within the ministry. It ensures consistent, professional, and effective internal communication to promote collaboration, maintain security, and safeguard sensitive information.

This procedure applies to the coordinator, employees, contractors, and partners within Ignition 633 Nigeria who engage in media-related activities or communications. It covers all forms of internal communication, including team meetings, feedback, and appraisals or reviews.
How Media Team Communicate
Strategy consultations
This entails carrying your team along by ensuring they are up to date with your plans for the department so that they can work with you to achieve them.
Team meetings
Team meetings are an important tool for your leadership kit. Use them to talk to your team about issues and challenges, changes in finances, strategy, the structure of the team, etc. Remember to allow people to voice their concerns and discuss their issues.
Feedback
Always provide time for analysis and feedback when assigning tasks, especially new ones like launching content on a new platform or format. Positive affirmation encourages repeated success and clarifies your expectations. Praise is a powerful tool to inspire and motivate your team.
Appraisals or Review
The ministry's appraisal system is the quarterly performance review for all employees. Always speak with your Director about your staff and their performances. As the media coordinator, you are the link between your team and your director.
To ensure that this link is not broken and the relationship is kept firm as it should be, always maintain that two-way flow of communication between your team and your director and vice versa.
