Drug and Alcohol Policy

Purpose:
This policy aims to create a safe, healthy, and productive environment for our employees and visitors. We recognize our responsibility to maintain a substance-free workplace that promotes the well-being and safety of all individuals.

Scope:
This policy applies to all individuals associated with Ignition633 Ministries, including full-time and part-time employees and visitors, while they are on the premises or engaged in ministry activities.

Policy Statement:
Ignition633 Ministries is committed to maintaining a drug and alcohol-free environment. We believe that the use of illegal drugs and the misuse of alcohol are harmful to safety, productivity, and the overall well-being of our staff.

Prohibited Substances and Behaviors:
- The use, possession, distribution, or sale of illegal drugs on ministry premises is strictly prohibited. 
- The use of alcohol during working hours is not allowed. 
- Being under the influence of drugs or alcohol while performing work duties is not permitted.

Prescription Medications:  
Employees using prescription medications that may affect their ability to perform their duties safely must inform their immediate supervisor.

Consequences:
Violation of this policy may result in disciplinary action, including Verbal Warning, Written Warning, Suspension and up to and including termination of employment.

This policy will be reviewed annually and is subject to change. Any changes will be communicated to all employees promptly.
