Bathroom Use Policy

Purpose:
This policy establishes guidelines for bathroom use to maintain a clean and respectful environment for all individuals while ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety regulations. It aims to promote proper hygiene practices and define expectations for bathroom facility usage across our premises.

Scope:
This policy applies to all employees, visitors, and any other individuals present on Ministry property. It includes all bathroom facilities within Ignition633 Ministries buildings and sets forth standards for the appropriate use and maintenance.

Policy:

General Guidelines:
All individuals must maintain proper hygiene and cleanliness when using bathroom facilities. Individuals are expected to leave the facilities in the same condition they found them, making sure the toilets are flushed, paper products are disposed of properly, famine hygiene products disposed of in the trash and counters and sinks are free of water spillage. Any maintenance issues or supply shortages should be reported to the Ministry maintenance team immediately.

Special Considerations for Field Workers:
Employees working in outdoor areas must utilize the designated bathroom facilities inside the building. Under no circumstances should employees relieve themselves outdoors, as this practice violates health regulations and professional standards. Field workers should plan their work activities to accommodate reasonable bathroom breaks using indoor facilities. Supervisors should make sure that outdoor workers have adequate time and access to return to the building to use proper facilities.

Facility Access and Maintenance:
Bathrooms will be accessible during all operational hours, from 8:00am – 4:30pm and will be regularly cleaned and maintained by custodial staff. All users share responsibility for maintaining bathroom cleanliness throughout the day. Hand washing is mandatory, and proper hand washing instructions are posted in all facilities. Employees should notify their supervisor if they need to access facilities during critical work operations to ensure proper coverage of duties.
