Purpose
To maintain a safe and secure environment, this policy establishes guidelines for searching guests and staff, maintaining entry and exit records, and ensuring proper conduct and vigilance by gate guards.

Scope
This section applies to all staff and guests entering the Ministry’s campus or office premises.

Policy Statement
ID Badge Requirements

- All staff ID badges must be checked upon entry.
- Staff whose badges are marked “No Search” are exempt from searches. All other staff must be searched before being granted entry.

Transportation Checkpoints
Staff using the Ministry’s vehicles must disembark at the gate and proceed through the designated gate for proper checks.

Logbook Entries
- All staff must sign in and out at the logbook center to ensure accurate records of entry and exit.
- A separate logbook must be maintained for guests or staff visiting colleagues or other individuals on the campus.

Gate Guard Responsibilities
- The gate guard must maintain awareness of everyone entering the office building or campus by keeping an updated logbook at all times.
- In case of emergencies, the gate guard must promptly inform the Strikers.

This policy will be reviewed annually and is subject to change. Any changes will be communicated to all employees promptly.
