Purpose
This policy defines the responsibilities and expectations for gate guards to ensure effective gate management and maintain a secure and orderly work environment.

Scope
This policy applies to all gate guards responsible for managing entry and exit points at the Ministry’s campus or office premises.

Policy Statement
1. Gate Operating Hours
- Open Hours
Morning: 7:30 am – 9:30 am
Midday/Break: 11:30 am – 1:30 pm
Evening: 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm

- Closed Hours:
Outside these hours, the gate must remain locked, and the gate guard must be seated and active at their station.

2. Work Area Maintenance
Gate guards must always keep their work areas neat and free of loiterers.

3. Professional Conduct
- Gate guards are prohibited from engaging in lazy practices or unnecessary idling.
- They must remain vigilant and ensure high professionalism while on duty.

4. Emergency Protocols
Any emergency concerns must be immediately reported to the Strikers for swift resolution.
