Purpose
This policy prohibits the presence of pets within campus housing facilities, aiming to maintain a clean, safe, and harmonious living environment. It also ensures the well-being of all residents and the preservation of campus property.
Scope
This policy applies to all staff and residents living within the organization's campus housing facilities in Nigeria. It clearly prohibits keeping any kind of pets on campus premises.
Policy Statement
Prohibition of Pets
- No pets are permitted on campus or within campus housing facilities. This includes dogs, cats, fish, and any other animals.
- Permissions for specific pets may be addressed on a case-by-case basis. Approval can only be granted by the International Directors, the Vice President, or the Chief of Staff.
Common Areas
- Pets are not allowed in any part of the campus, including outdoor spaces, shared areas, or private residences.
Enforcement
- Residents found violating this policy will receive written warnings and may face further corrective actions, including potential eviction from campus housing.
Maintenance and Compliance
All residents are expected to comply with this policy to ensure a clean and orderly living environment for everyone.
