PurposeTheThis purposepolicy prohibits the presence of thispets policywithin iscampus housing facilities, aiming to establish guidelines for residents who wish to keep pets on campus, ensuringmaintain a peacefulclean, safe, and harmonious living environmentenvironment. thatIt respectsalso ensures the rights and well-being of all residents whileand maintainingthe preservation of campus facilities. This policy seeks to balance the benefits of pet ownership with the need for safety, cleanliness, and order within the ministry.property.
Scope
This policy applies to all staff and residents of Ignition633 Ministries Nigeria who live or interactliving within the organization's campus housing facilities in Nigeria. It clearly prohibits keeping any kind of pets on campus premises.
Policy Statement
Prohibition of Pets
- No pets are permitted on campus or within campus housing facilities. ItThis coversincludes permissibledogs, petcats, types, registration requirements, behavior expectations,fish, and responsibilitiesany other animals.
- Permissions for pet owners to promote a safe, clean, and conducive environment for everyone.
Policy Statement Permitted Pets- Small dogs (up to 25 pounds) and cats are allowed.- Fish tanks with a capacity of up to 20 gallons are permitted.- Otherspecific pets mustmay be approvedaddressed on a case-by-case basis. Approval can only be granted by the International Directors, the Vice President, or the Chief of Staff.
Registration- All residents with pets must register their animals with the Campus Director.- Provide proof of up-to-date vaccinations, especially for rabies vaccination, and necessary licenses.
Common Areas
- Pets are prohibitednot allowed in commonany areas such as dining areas and offices, and pets must not disturb other residents.- Pets cannot live inside campus houses.- Designated pet-friendly areas might be established for residents to enjoy with their pets as time passes.
Noise and Disturbance- Owners are responsible for ensuring their pets do not create excessive noise or disturbances.- Continuous barking or other disruptive behaviors may result in verbal warnings and, if necessary, removalpart of the petcampus, fromincluding theoutdoor campusspaces, resident.shared areas, or private residences.
Waste ManagementEnforcement- Owners must promptly clean up after their pets in all common areas and outdoor spaces.- Waste disposal stations are provided throughout the campus.
Maintenance and Repairs
- Residents arefound responsibleviolating forthis anypolicy damageswill causedreceive towritten campuswarnings property by their pets.- Regular inspectionsand may beface conductedfurther tocorrective ensureactions, complianceincluding with this policy.
Allergies and Health Concerns- Residents with allergies or health concerns related to pets should notify the campus housing office.
Violations- Failure to comply with the pet policy may result in warnings orpotential eviction from campus housing.
Maintenance and Compliance
All residents are expected to comply with this policy to ensure a clean and orderly living environment for everyone.
