Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to establish guidelines for residents who wish to keep pets on campus, ensuring a peaceful living environment that respects the rights and well-being of all residents while maintaining campus facilities. This policy seeks to balance the benefits of pet ownership with the need for safety, cleanliness, and order within the ministry.

Scope
This policy applies to all residents of Ignition633 Ministries Nigeria who live or interact within the campus housing facilities. It covers permissible pet types, registration requirements, behavior expectations, and responsibilities for pet owners to promote a safe, clean, and conducive environment for everyone. 

Policy Statement 
Permitted Pets
- Small dogs (up to 25 pounds) and cats are allowed.
- Fish tanks with a capacity of up to 20 gallons are permitted.
- Other pets must be approved on a case-by-case basis.

Registration
- All residents with pets must register their animals with the Campus Director.
- Provide proof of up-to-date vaccinations, especially for rabies vaccination, and necessary licenses.

Common Areas
- Pets are prohibited in common areas such as dining areas and offices, and pets must not disturb other residents.
- Pets cannot live inside campus houses.
- Designated pet-friendly areas might be established for residents to enjoy with their pets as time passes.

Noise and Disturbance
- Owners are responsible for ensuring their pets do not create excessive noise or disturbances.
- Continuous barking or other disruptive behaviors may result in verbal warnings and, if necessary, removal of the pet from the campus resident.

Waste Management
- Owners must promptly clean up after their pets in all common areas and outdoor spaces.
- Waste disposal stations are provided throughout the campus.

Maintenance and Repairs
- Residents are responsible for any damages caused to campus property by their pets.
- Regular inspections may be conducted to ensure compliance with this policy.

Allergies and Health Concerns
- Residents with allergies or health concerns related to pets should notify the campus housing office.

Violations
- Failure to comply with the pet policy may result in warnings or eviction from campus housing.

This policy will be reviewed annually and is subject to change. Any changes will be communicated to all employees promptly.
