Policy - Dress Code

Purpose:
To establish and maintain a professional appearance for all employees who operate ministry vehicles. This policy is to ensure that drivers present themselves in a manner that reflects being respectful while also adhering to safety concerns associated with operating the vehicles. Following the dress code improves the Ministry's image and ensures that drivers are easily identifiable and are following the safety standards.

Scope:
This policy covers attire worn during the operation of ministry vehicles and at ministry-related events and/or activities. This includes, but is not limited to, work commutes, meetings, and any other situations where employees are representing the ministry while driving.

Uniform
- Provide uniform top
- Pants (black)
- Pants must be clean, pressed, and secured at the waist. Boxers must not be exposed.
- Closed-toed shoes (black)
- ID Badge

Upkeep
- If uniforms spoil or you need additional uniforms, speak with your supervisor about purchasing more.
- Talk to your supervisor if there is a need for cleaning services for the uniform.
- Make sure fingernails are clean and trimmed.
- Reduce body odor by wearing deodorant, showering daily, and wearing fresh/clean clothes daily.
- Refrain from wearing strong perfumes/colognes as working in private homes maybe needed.

This policy will be reviewed annually and is subject to change. Any changes will be communicated to all employees promptly.
