Scope:
This policy applies to all staff members, volunteers, and any individuals involved in the operations of the creche. It covers areas essential to childcare, including appropriate interactions with children and parents, maintaining a safe and hygienic environment, adherence to child protection protocols, effective communication, and reliable record-keeping. The policy governs conduct during all creche activities, whether on-site or during supervised outings.

Policy:

Private Conversations:
Caregivers should never discuss confidential information or share personal anecdotes or stories about children with anyone other than authorized staff or the child's parent or guardian.

Interpersonal Skills:
Communicate effectively and respectfully with children, their families, colleagues, and your supervisor. Building positive relationships and maintaining open lines of communication are essential components of professionalism.

Respect For All Individuals:
Treat children, parents, colleagues, and visitors with respect, courtesy, and kindness. Discrimination, harassment, or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated.

Ethical Conduct:
Conduct yourselves ethically, avoiding any form of discrimination, harassment, or unprofessional behavior. Upholding the organization's values and policies is essential.
