Foreman Standards policy

We at Ignition633 desire to represent the Lord's work with the highest standards in our responsibilities and duties. Please speak with your supervisor about any difficulties meeting the standards of your job in the ministry.

Purpose:
This Policy is meant to establish clear expectations, values, and behaviors for Foremen within our Ministry. The policy will promote a culture of excellence, integrity, and accountability in the construction environment. This policy aims to inspire Foremen to lead by example, foster positive relationships, and uphold the highest standards in their professional and spiritual duties. By maintaining these standards, Foremen will contribute to a work environment that is productive, harmonious, and aligned with professional and moral values.

Scope:
This policy applies to all Foremen within the Ministry, across all construction sites and projects. It covers all aspects of their work, including task management, leadership, communication, and relationships with team members. The policy also extends to interactions with new staff, collaboration with supervisors, and overall contributions to the success of projects and our ministry.

Prayer:
Every workday must begin with a prayer. It is always important to commit your daily activities to God. Proverbs 16:3 says “Commit your actions to the lord, and your plans will succeed.”

Job Knowledge:
You must have a good knowledge of your job and what is expected of you and always exceed those expectations. Whenever you have new staff, be kind to teach them or communicate with your supervisor if you observe that they may need training in particular areas.

Work Habit:
Your work expectation is excellence at all times. You are required to work with that mindset of excellence in your communication, punctuality, proper conduct, and relationship with staff.

Relationship:
Colossians 3:14 says, "Beyond all these things put on love which is the perfect bond of unity". Always see your co-workers from the lens of love. This will enable you to correct them properly and receive corrections from them for your personal growth and that of the ministry.

Communication:
Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouth but, only what helps build others up according to their needs, that is, may benefit those who listen (Colossians 4:29). Communicate in a right manner. In timeliness, relevance, and with the right approach.

Goals:
A SMART goal is used to guide goal setting. SMART is an acronym that means; Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Timely. A SMART goal incorporates all of these criteria to help focus your efforts and increase the chances of achieving your goal.
Your supervisor will set SMART goals for your work to ensure that things are organized and tasks completed on time. Follow the goals accordingly to ensure excellence.
