In block-making, several roles must work together to complete the job. As a laborer, it is essential to be able to function in each one of these roles. Listed below are the roles and how they are performed.
Purpose
This policy outlines the duties, responsibilities, and safety guidelines for employees involved in the block-making process. It aims to ensure efficiency, quality control, and adherence to safety standards throughout the operation.
Scope
This policy applies to all employees, supervisors, and managers directly involved in the block-making process, from the preparation of materials to the final quality checks and storage of finished products.
RolesPolicy Statement
Mixer
The mixer must mix the block mixture to be molded. Keep track of how much sand and cement they have and if it is enough to produce.
Operator
The operator's job is to ensure the lister engine works correctly. Ensure the molder is level and working correctly, and switch out molds. Shovel the mixture into the mold and vibrate the mold for 5 seconds. Put new pallet on molder after runner takes the block.
Runner
The runner must take a freshly molded block from the molding machine and carry it carefully to where you place it. This person must be careful when handling the block to avoid dropping or breaking the block.
Stacker
This person must ensure palettes are wet and stacked enough for the operator. The stacker waters block from previous days three times a day. Stack blocks and help with sales.
